Weather and 10 Taps.

See how the weather and time of day influences the flow of sap. Historically, the sap runs best on warm days after freezing nights, so check back throughout the season to see. There are several different time spans shown below, from 1-day to see detailed changes in flow rate, up to the entire season. The sap amount is reset everyday at midnight to allow for easier daily comparisons. There is a reference line, of 1 gallon per hour, for the sap flow rate [shown in red], the maximum expected flow rate for 10 taps is about 2 gallons per hour. The amount of sap shown in these graphs is based on 10 taps.
